Accounting Apprentice

We have exciting opportunities available to work in our Leicester office within our Corporate Restructuring and Recovery Team with support being provided to achieve a professional accountancy qualification. 

What will you do? 

Over 5 or 6 years you will study towards becoming a qualified accountant and during this time you will 

  • Gain practical experience and valuable skills whilst bringing your studies to life 
  • Be part of a team supporting the day-to-day operations and functions and get involved in interesting cases 
  • Use your insights and skills to analyse financial information, prepare statutory reports and documents  
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, such as Accountants and Solicitors on formal insolvency matters 
  • Gain knowledge and experience of dealing with limited companies in financial distress from a wide range of industries and sectors 
  • Be predominantly based in our Leicester office with a supportive team around you, occasionally working out on-site and in other offices

What we are looking for:

  • 3 A-levels or equivalent at A* to C (obtained or predicted) 
  • 9 to 4 in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent 
  • Desire to work in a professional services environment 
  • Ability to communicate well with both colleagues and external parties 
  • Natural curiosity and desire to solve problems 
  • Self-motivation and ability to combine study and work
