Stephen Berry

Stephen is a qualified solicitor and practising insolvency practitioner. He has a broad range of experience in corporate rescue and recovery, restructuring personal insolvency, business investigations, review work and funding solutions.

Stephen founded his own advisory firm in 2008, Berry & Co, which was sold in 2016. Having advised business and individuals across most sectors for over 20 years he has worked on several high-profile assignments ranging across financial institutions, legal practices, and construction to name a few. Stephen was appointed an officer of the court in respect of the largest legal fraud in England and Wales and has restructured a number of businesses often by facilitating a sale, with or without a period of trading.  Those that have come across Stephen are aware he puts particular emphasis on pragmatic commercial advice where financial distress is present.

Stephen is also an accredited mediator in civil and commercial disputes and served on the Lord Chancellors Advisory Committee for the appointment of Magistrates in Merseyside.
